Study Period Curriculum

The study load for the MSDP Doctoral Program is a maximum of 84 credits, completed over a maximum of 6 years with the following details:

A. Doktor By Course

This program is implemented over two semesters of doctoral preparation (lectures will be delivered face-to-face, including both compulsory and elective courses based on the student’s area of ​​interest and the lecturer’s competency). At the beginning of the first semester, students are allowed to have an Advisory Committee (Promoter and Co-Promoter) and submit a Dissertation Proposal, which will be assessed by the Advisory Committee in conjunction with the Aquatic Resources Management Doctoral Academic Advisory Team. Students must complete one reputable international publication and one accredited national publication.

Doctoral Preparation Stage (30 Credits)

Semester I (Philosophy of Science (2 credits), Research Methodology (2 credits), Scientific Publication Writing Techniques (2 credits), Aquatic Ecosystems (3 credits), Aquatic Resources Management (3 credits), Proposal (6 credits))

Semester II (Elective courses (3 credits), Research 1 (6 credits)).

B. Doktor By Reseach

The total credits for this program are 84. In the first semester, students are allowed to take compulsory courses (sit-in) or a literature review to prepare for their research. The distinction between lecture programs and research programs is based on the output of scientific publications. Research doctorates must publish at least two articles in reputable international journals and one article in an accredited national journal within six to twelve semesters.
